INSURANCE POLICY

Please note that we are not in-network with any insurance providers. The topics we explore with our clients in relationship therapy are very personal. We made the decision not to work directly with insurance providers to protect your privacy and to ensure there are no limitations to the services you receive. We are happy to provide you with a medical receipt for out-of-network billing if you’d like to file for reimbursement directly with your insurance company.

We understand the importance of finding a therapist who’s not only qualified to help you reach your goals but also one with whom you have a really great relationship. It’s why we offer all prospective clients a complimentary 20-minute consultation. Insurance

We do not accept insurance and are not in-network providers. If you need therapy covered by your insurance, we recommend contacting your insurance company for a list of their providers.

Before starting couples therapy, check with your insurance to see if they reimburse for CPT code 90847 with a diagnosis. Often, insurance doesn’t cover couples or family therapy unless it’s deemed medically necessary for a diagnosed patient.

If you have out-of-network coverage (usually a PPO plan), we can provide a monthly superbill for you to request partial reimbursement from your insurance company. If you are using out-of-network coverage, your insurance plan will require us to identify a “patient” and provide a diagnosis.

Heights Couples Therapy is a private-pay, specialty group practice that is not in-network with any insurance providers. This model offers several advantages, including greater flexibility, personalized care, and a treatment approach tailored entirely to your needs.
